Más de un millón de manifestantes en Sao Paulo contra Dilma Rousseff

Al menos un millón de personas se manifestaron este domingo en la Avenida Paulista de Sao Paulo contra la corrupción en el gobierno de la presidenta de Brasil, Dilma Rousseff, según las cifras facilitadas por la Policía Militar.

Considerada como el epicentro de la oposición en el país, la ciudad de Sao Paulo liberó una jornada de protestas que se extiende en ciudades de 24 estados en todo Brasil, siendo especialmente intensas en la región sur como Curitiba o Porto Alegre, ambas ciudades con protestas superiores a las 100.000 personas.

A pesar de que las manifestaciones ocurren de manera pacífica en todo el país, la Policía Militar de Sao Paulo detuvo a una decena de activistas del grupo radical de extrema derecha "carecas do suburbio" los cuales estarían acusados de agresiones a manifestantes y de estar posesión de varios artefactos explosivos.

Ya en la capital Brasília, al menos 45.000 personas tomaron la llamada "Explanada de los Ministerios" y consiguieron rodear el Congreso Nacional, símbolo de la soberanía nacional del país.

Por último, unos 30.000 manifestantes se dieron cita en Belo Horizonte, 80.000 en Riberao Preto, 40.000 en Salvador de Bahía y unos 20.000 en Río de Janeiro, una cifra muy similar a las del resto de las capitales de los 24 estados que este domingo secundan la protesta.
